Guild Refresh - Welcome New Members [May 23rd]

Alright, so after a lot of thought, I have decided to completely 'refresh' the guild. This means expelling all of the unactive members, disbanding alliance, and changing emblem. Essentially this will make a new guild without paying for more slots or any of that. What I want to get from this is a more active community which we seem to have lost over the months of quitting and joining back and school. So if you are a new member, I welcome you. Please check out the forums as well as the other features of this website. The forums are very active and you can introduce yourself there and talk about all the random crap we do talk about in those forums. We hope you stay, and welcome to Informal!

Spring Break = Back on Maple [April 7th]

Alrighty, so i started to get back into maplestory, i dont know if i will be playing it after spring however. I am slowly trying to bring the guild back to life. For you new members, this guild, informal, has a very large history to it. While it might seem like a new guild since there are so many people joining and quitting, thats because we just came back and we are trying to build it back up, so bare with us. I might do a little guild cleaning to get rid of all the duds in the guild. Just make sure you are talkative and nice to all the members and you wont get expelled. Check out the forums by clicking the link above that says forums. It is very active and we have a pretty friendly community that will always welcome new members. Soo thats about it. Hey, everyone just letting you all know whats been going down. As you should know, a lot of us have been taking a break and the guild has slowly been losing more and more members as people are starting to lose interest. When me and kevin got back we knew we had to do something. Right now both of us are in Formal, the junior guild, on our low level accounts getting more and more members back. If you are a new member, I would like to welcome you to Formalities, and invite you to our very active forums. Enjoy.

As you can see, I havent really been keeping that active with this website (the last update was 35 days ago). Ill try to start posting more, but its kind of hard since i havent been on in a while because im in Canada. Just letting you all know I am still alive, and checking if this website is still alive. I highly doubt any of you get on this anymore which is a shame, but I know that is partially my doings. So like I said ill try to start posting more on here, and when I get back we will have a bonanza of events. To gague the activeness so that I know you are actually using this website, put a picture of a bran muffin in any of your posts on the forum. And dont explain why you are doing or people are just going to put them up without knowing about this post. SO......... bran muffins.

If you have been keeping up with the guild recently, you would know that there is a lot of drama going on. My advice to all of you in, or not in the 'soap opera' is to ignore it and let it blow over. Getting mingled it in just causes more problems, and I think because we were mingling in it, more and more problems have come.

Now for the fun stuff, the Halloween Updates are coming out tomorrow. I thought it might be fun to mess around and explore all the things together. Click here for more info.

I also thought i would mention a work my plan in progress, but if you havent been following me on my many forums that I use (I wouldn't be surprised if you did -stares at angie-) I have been trying to learn more about the requirements and important things to know about setting up a boss run. Ive gotten some pointers from some people and think that ive got it down pretty squared. My first little trial run is going to be against papulatus first, then pianus, and then zakum. (The pointers and info I got were for zakum, not pianus and papulatus, FYI) Im starting with those two obviously because it will be easier, and it will give me a gague of what I will need to be expecting. So look out for the forum post of the PERMANENT dates (I'm not going to be flexible if its just one person that has a time conflict because then it wont get done) of when we will do our Pap run.

And before you storm me with questions, I am working on getting some smegas to help with recruiting to make all of this seem more realistic so, yeah thats about it, Hope to see you at the halloween update event and pap run.

Recruiting new members to replace the onesthat have been lost has been going great so far. We're beginning tomeet new people, make new friends, and rebuild the guild back to itsformer standards.

Some of thesepeople who have been doing a good job of keeping up the activeness andkeeping the guild talkative are cygnusnewbs, Flipmoodll, and eroselric.Thank you and keep up the good work in making Informal the best it canbe~!

We would also like to congradulate DarkReconz on getting the Pink Bean pet!

Me and Helen (GraffleFraff) also decided to go rog hunting today- onlyit turned out to be more of a party as more and more people from theguild showed up to help. It was a fun little get together, and Im gladto say everyone from the guild participated in this event. It went verywell and was fun, and thank you all who came.

Lastly, a new photo album with new photos from the party has been putup. Be sure to check it out if you havnt already on the forums~
